Both Master Sacchin Shah and Mr Girish Shah started their training with Master Banfield in 2002 and 2005 respectively at Wembley Choi Kwang Do. Master Banfield has been a great mentor to us both, and has been a key force in shaping our goals and approach to teaching Choi Kwang Do. Both Master Banfield and his wife Mrs Mistry Banfield have been great friends and have provided amazing guidance for our development. They instilled a desire in us both to have a positive impact on our students, as we witnessed first hand them inspiring their students.

Mr Abid Musa was one of the first instructors met by Master Sacchin Shah when he started his Choi Kwang Do journey in 2002. He runs his full time school "Musa Martial Arts" with his wife Mrs Alia Musa, and they both have been very supportive of our Choi Kwang Do journey. We have had the chance to teach regularly at their school and learn from them both as they are truly inspirational to all their students.

CHOICES - Choi Kwang Do Malaysia
Master Sacchin Shah was invited to Malaysia by Master Harrison Rafferty on teaching internships in October 2019 and February 2020. I this time Master Shah has the opportunity to teach at different locations in Kuala Lumpur, whilst also training with and learning from Master Rafferty. Master Rafferty is successfully running and expanding Choi Kwang Do in Malaysia. As one of the youngest masters in CKD, he has positioned himself as a role model to all younger students and continues to collaborate with Master Shah as both schools grow for the future.

Kingston Martial Arts
Both Deputy Master Shah and Master Shah met Master Pickett and Deputy Master Pickett in 2019 during the Choi Kwang Do Instructor workshop event in the UK. Since then we have been working closely through regular instructor training workshops. In January 2023 we had the opportunity to lead a technical training session at a UK wide workshop organised by the ADAPT Martial Arts Instructors. Together we continue to collaborate by training with each other and sharing ideas to develop our schools.
